no more SPI-V3D? no more VTOUR? Autodesk bought Realviz

It seems that Realviz (now Autodesk) will not develop VTOUR and SPi-V3D won't be developed too.
Aldo, can you add any comment according to SPi-V3d (your product)?

Re: no more SPI-V3D? no more VTOUR? Autodesk bought Realviz

You're good at jumping to conclusions...

From the realviz faq:
http://imagemodeler.realviz.com/press/PR/autodesk_FAQ.pdf
Matchmover, Retimer and VTour will no longer be available as standalone products; the core technology may be integrated into Autodesk’s platform solutions and existing products.

VTour is not listed as a discontinued product (other products are). It's technologies will likely live on in another form. Autodesk has always been a supporter of Macromedia's (now Adobe's) W3D format.

Having said all that, I have not heard anything from Realviz as of this time, so I don't know much more than you do. If there's a compelling reason (and sufficient 'resources') for me to make a new version of SPi-V 3d, I can. There is no exclusivity towards realviz/autodesk on SPi-V 3d.
