Important note about SPi-V 1.4.2 and file/unlimted licenses
This morning I posted SPi-V 1.4.2 in a bit of a hurry. I forgot to add a note that file license created for previous versions of SPi-V (either as single licenses or with an unlimited license) may not work in SPi-V 1.4.2.
Unfortunately there was a bug in SPi-V 1.3.12 and newer that caused some file licenses not to work cross platform (ie: a file licensed ordered on a windows machine might not work on a mac). This has been fixed in SPi-V 1.4.2, but unfortunately it meant that I had to break current file licenses.
I am in the process of creating an updated version of the Licensing Tool, that will create new, valid licenses. Many people have asked for a batchable version of the License Tool. I did not want to have the License Tool push the release of SPi-V 1.4.2 back further (I hope you'll agree it's an important release).
With the new License Tool, which should be out early next week, your unlimited license will start to work again. If you bought a file license which ceased to work with SPi-V 1.4.2, you can send the licensed XML file (NOT the license.xml file) to me and I will create a new license for you ASAP.
If you have an unlimited license and you need to apply it to an xml file now, you could try replacing any "_" characters used in "id" attributes with "-" characters.
Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
